    Minimum Wage

    It is officially in effect at $10.40 in our part of New York State.

    Paid Family Leave

    Everyone, whether you are having a child or not, will begin seeing part of your check go to the Paid Family Leave Program. A worker who qualifies can take 8 weeks at 50% of their pay.

    Government Felonies

    If an elected official or government appointee commit a felony related to their job now, they will not be allowed to collect a state pension after they are fired.

    If You Have A Kid...

    For taxpayers who make between $50,000 and $150,000 per year, the current cap on child care expenses will go up from $6,000 to $9,000.

    Snowmobiles

    A fine starting at $200 will be issued if your sled is not regulated properly.
