We've seen and done it all before when it comes to Niagara Falls right?  The Maid of the Mist, Goat Island, The Cave of the WInds.  Attractions that have been around for over a hundred years, that get visited by millions of people from around the world each and every year.

But this year on July 1st, there will be a new attraction opening at Niagara Falls, that will provide never-before-seen views of the natural wonder of the world.

"The Tunnel" is a new attraction opening on the Canadian side of the falls. Located at the Niagara Parks Power Station, the new attraction will officially open to the public on July 1.  The soon-to-be-opened visitor experience completes Phase II of the award-winning adaptive reuse project at the historic power station.

"The Tunnel"  will add to the existing guest experience at the Niagara Parks Power Station.  Once open, it will provide access to the vast underground infrastructure of the Power Station and offer a spectacular new viewing platform at the base of Niagara Falls.

Once you enter "The Tunnel" you will descend 180 feet in a glass-enclosed elevator, providing a view of the many underground floors of the station on your way down to the historic tunnel, through which waters flowed through on their way back to the Niagara River.

"The Tunnel" now will lead you to a new viewing platform at the base of the falls, providing views that have never been available to the public before.

The new viewing platform is located at water level, offering a never-before-seen to the public unobstructed view of the full height and scale of Niagara Falls, as the Maid of the Mist and Hornblower boats pass directly in front of you as you feel and see the power of the falls, as mist falls over you.
