Nightly Fireworks now set to return to Niagara Falls
A nightly tradition is soon set to make its return to the Western New York sky on a nightly basis.
Niagara Falls Tourism announced today that the Niagara Falls Fireworks will make their return to the skies above the natural wonder of the world on May 20th, with spectacular shows taking place every night until October 10, 2022.
I have missed the nightly fireworks shows at the falls. My house is within earshot of the falls, and I could set my watch by the nightly display. The wife and I could be sitting on the couch, hear the booms, and look at each other and say..." it's 10 o'clock"
The sight of exploding fireworks over the edge of Niagara Falls is something that you need to see if you haven't before. The shows return this year on Friday, May 20th for the Victoria Day long weekend. The shows, all of which are weather permitting, will start at 10 pm nightly.
If you are on the Canadian side, a great view of the show can be had from Queen Victoria Park, Oakes Garden Theatre, and The Table Rock Centre. On the American side, great views can be had from Niagara Falls State Park, especially at Teripan Point.
In my opinion, the best spot to see them from is on the Rainbow Bridge. If you are walking to or from Canada, try to time your trip right so you will be crossing the bridge right at 10 pm. You can thank me later.
