Patriots Owner Charged In Prostitution Sting
They've had a player convicted of murder and they've been involved in a number of scandals including what became known as Deflategate and Spygate. Now the owner of the New England Patriots has been arrested in Florida and charged with soliciting prostitutes.
According to CNN, police in Jupiter, Florida say Robert Kraft was busted as part of a sting at a massage parlor and charged with two counts of soliciting. In a written statement a spokesperson for Kraft said “We categorically deny that Mr. Kraft engaged in any illegal activity” and said they will have no further comment.
The evidence against Kraft includes video of the owner in one of the spas in question receiving "paid acts".
Kraft is likely to be subject to some sort of discipline under the NFL's personal conduct policy. Owners as well as players are subject to that policy.
