Protests Happening on Easter Weekend in Buffalo
Easter weekend will see a planned protest happen in downtown Buffalo, as well as across New York State.
Many are upset about the state of the country, as well as the deportation of people to El Salvador, such as Abrego Garcia. As a result, protests are planned across New York State, held all over the rest of the country, for Saturday. That includes here in Buffalo.
Where is the Protest on Saturday in Buffalo?
It begins at 11 am in Niagara Square, which is downtown in front of City Hall. It's been a big topic on the Buffalo Subreddit:
Millions of Americans have come out to protest the Trump administration's policies on immigration, deportation, tariffs, and other issues. The president and his supporters believe these policies will make America stronger in the long run. Many disagree and are concerned, in particular, now that Trump has ignored an order by the Supreme Court to return people deported to an El Salvador prison. The president and his cabinet say the Supreme Court has no say over the executive branch of government, i.e., the President.
Other Protests in New York
Buffalo is not the only city in New York holding protests. In fact, there are at least 17 planned for Saturday, as seen here:
