President Joe Biden has made it clear that he wants all states to make all adults eligible for the coronavirus vaccine by May 1. The President also has an outlined plan to get things closer to normal by July 4th, which is one year after the World Health Organization officially declared a pandemic.

Have you ever thought about how things are going to be when they say that everything is ok? Well, I think about it all the time, and I can tell you, I don't think that there's going to be a large number of people walking around without a mask on. I can see a lot more arguments and maybe even some fights in certain communities, between the pro-mask people, and the people who are already letting their guards down. Let's face it, there are some people that are not going to wear a mask, the minute officials here in Buffalo decide that it is not the law.

Another one of my thoughts is, let's just say, the rules change, and the choice is left up to businesses to decide whether they're going to enforce a mask mandate. The larger chain grocery stores and big-box stores could probably afford to make that choice at the risk of losing customers. I think if small businesses had to make that choice, it's going to be a bit tougher, because who wants to risk losing business because they are still enforcing the mask mandate.

According to WIVB, President Joe Biden said,

By the fourth of July there is a good chance your family and friends will be able to get together in your backyard or neighborhood and have a barbecue and celebrate Independence Day.

I'm a very optimistic person, and I can't wait just like everyone else, I feel like there still may be some challenges in Buffalo, even after we get the go-ahead.
