We’re about a month away from this year’s Music is Art festival, taking place Saturday, September 21 at the Outer Harbor’s Terminal B and Lakeside Lawn venue, but the organization’s founder is hoping Western New Yorkers are getting in the festival spirit early.

Ten years ago, on an early June weekend, a few bands set up in a recording studio parking lot on Franklin Street during the Allentown Art Festival and spent the day playing music for some curious onlookers. And so the Music is Art festival was born.
