According to WGRZ, the Seneca Nation will be bringing tax-free gasoline and cigarettes to downtown Buffalo with a new Seneca One Stop gas station that will be near the Buffalo Creek Casino, at the corner of Michigan Avenue and Perry Street.

“Our investments in our Buffalo Creek Territory, starting in 2005, helped provide some of the early momentum for the exciting transformation of the Inner Harbor area of downtown Buffalo,” said Seneca Nation President Matthew Pagels. “This latest investment by the Seneca Nation adds to that momentum and to the variety of amenities and conveniences available in the area.”

The new Seneca One Stop is expected to bring 14 new jobs and be finished by early 2021.

You may have already driven by the construction. In a day of unfortunate news, this is at least some good news to cheer you up.
