These two teenagers saved a woman's home from burning down after they spotted a fire from her holiday lights.

The holidays are here, and, of course, that means many people have lights decorating their homes. Some people go all out and make social media-worthy experiences out of their lights. Most just put a few fun things to celebrate and be festive. Regardless, it's always nice to drive around and see the lights.

What you don't want to see, though, is a fire, which is exactly what happened to this home in Western New York.

One of the dangers of putting up holiday lights is making sure your connections are good and that you're not overloading the plug, which are things an electrician would be better at describing. We all know it can be dangerous, so we must be careful. That doesn't stop bad things from happening, though, and an electrical fire almost caused the holidays to be ruined for this woman's home.

This video was posted on Threads of 2 teens, who the poster says are brothers, spotting a fire that had broken out from the holiday lights this home had hung. The 2 quickly ran up to the home and smartly unplugged the lights, putting out the fire. Check out the video:

The person had a smart doorbell of some variety, so they left a message explaining what happened.

Nice job, guys! These 2 are true heroes for stopping a fire that could have truly destroyed this home. We don;t know their names as of yet, but we do know they deserve something extra for Christmas this year. Thank you for being awesome people.
