Since its humble beginnings over 50 years ago, the Allentown Art Festival has been a tribute not only to the unique art of the region, but to our city as a whole, particularly the Allentown Historic Preservation District. The festival is a symbol of Buffalo and its continuous commitment to the arts.

Each year, tens of thousands of people pour into the streets to take in the art and culture that our city has to offer. It is a true testament to the unique spirit of our city.

There are many reasons why people come to this event. First and foremost is the hundreds or artists who display their works. Some come for the food. Others come for the experience. The streets in Allentown get packed with a diverse mass of people. The neighboring bars and restaurants fill up and people from all walks of life enjoy the festival.

The festival is taking place this weekend, June 9 & 10. This is one of the events in Buffalo this summer that everyone must check out. Head down to Allentown Saturday or Sunday (or both) to take in one of the truly standout events of the summer.
