This week is the last Thursday at the Square as the free summer concert series will shift venues after this week to the Erie Canal Harbor Central Wharf. The change in venues has had mixed reviews, but the concert this week will surely say goodbye to Lafayette Square in a proper way.
The group is led by the multi-talented, multi-instrumental Grace Potter. The powerful rocker chick is joined by her band of 5 who use instruments ranging from harmonicas to mandolins, with a slew of different guitars.
The bands recent tour is promoting their third studio album which was self-titled. Songs like "Paris (Ooh La La)" and "Tiny Light" have greatly increased this group's recognition over the past year.
Stop down to Lafayetee Square tomorow to be a part of the last concert in the square this season. You will definately enjoy the party. If you are a little hesitent as to whether or not you will enjoy the music, check out Grace Potter and the Nocturnals below...
