Okay, I will be the first to admit, I am not a fan of cold weather. I mean I do appreciate the temperatures in the 30s and above, especially it being in the single digits, anything above 20 degrees seems balmy.

However, the snow sucks. Unless you ski, snowboard, sled, skate, or snowmobile, what's the point?  And why does every activity that involves the snow also start with the letter "S"?

But I do realize how lucky we are to have winter here in Western New York. Now before you go off, and start weather shamming this area for the snow and cold let me present my five reasons we, while living in this area, should appreciate the snow and cold.

 

Appreciate The Weather in WNY

So embrace all the weather all the time because even though Mark Twain gets credit for it, Charles Dudley Warner actually originally stated: "Everybody talks about the weather but nobody does anything about it."

So bundle up, stay warm and just think, we will all be complaining about the humidity faster than your dad can yell, "DON'T TOUCH THE THERMOSTAT"!
