The road to Super Bowl 61 could be a little bit easier for the Buffalo Bills than in years past. While the Bills will have a rookie head coach in Joe Brady, he was promoted from the OC spot, which means he knows the team pretty well. The same cannot be said for all the other new head coaches in the league.

Buffalo Bills Will Face Three Rookie Head Coaches In 2026

The Bills are hoping that Joe Brady can take the Bills over the playoff "Wall" and into the big game. Brady does have an advantage; while being new, he was promoted from within and has years of relationships with the current players on the team.

The same cannot be said for many other "rookie" head coaches, and the Bills will face three of them this upcoming season.

Miami Dolphins - The Bills will play the Dolphins twice in 2026, and their new head man has never been a head coach in the NFL before. He comes to Miami from Green Bay, where he was the Packers' defensive coordinator. He was a head coach in college at Boston College, but the NFL is much different from the ACC. I think the Bills win both those games.

Baltimore Ravens - The Ravens fired John Harbaugh after 18 seasons as their head man. They hired Jesse Minter. This is Minter's first head coaching job at any level, and he does have big shoes to fill. I hope that the Bills get the Ravens towards the end of the year, where Minter and Lamar Jackson could be at odds. I think the Bills win this game, too.

Las Vegas Raiders - The Raiders officially named Klint Kubiak their head coach on Monday. Kubiak doesn't have any head coaching experience, but was a highly sought-after candidate, including here in Buffalo by the Bills Mafia. I hope the Bills get the Raiders early in the season, while Kubiak is still trying to find his footing as a head coach. I think the Bills win here.

Overall, I think the Bills will go 4-0 against the rookie head coaches they will face in 2026. Throw on some more wins, and I think the Bills could be back atop the AFC and in the Super Bowl.
