A huge dust storm also known as a "haboob" happened in Phoenix, Arizona yesterday! 

These dust storms look and are described as one huge wall of sand that can reach up to thousands of feet into the atmosphere.  When the storm hit Phoenix, the "haboob" was en estimated 5,000 feet!   The city slowly became harder to see as the storm swept through it!

Well, I guess this is another good reason as to why living in Buffalo, New York isn't so bad after all.
