The Bills are going to start the regular season at home on Sunday, September 12th against the Pittsburgh Steelers and you could be going just by helping your community.

For months now, ConnectLife has been asking the community for blood donors to step up to help with a critical blood shortage.  This is a local shortage.  In other words, it's happening here in Western New York, and they're looking for Western New Yorkers to step up with donations.

What better fanbase is there to turn to than the Bills Mafia?

They want to send you to the home opener as the Bills take on the Steelers at Highmark Stadium.  All they need you to do is donate.

Anyone who makes a donation from Wednesday through Monday will be entered to win one of two pairs of tickets to the game on September 12.  Also, all presenting donors will be entered to win 1 of 10 Oxford pennants autographed by one of your favorite Buffalo Bills players and their own mini pennant.

Want in?  Get signed up by calling ConnectLife at 716-529-4270, or go online to their website at ConnectLifeGiveBlood.org.

What if I just got vaccinated?  Can I still donate blood?

According to ConnectLife, "There is no wait time to donate blood after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine, Pfizer, Moderna, or Janssen/Johnson & Johnson."

Do I need to wear a mask?

As a designated healthcare facility, masks must continue to be worn at all ConnectLife locations and blood drives regardless of vaccination status.

Where can I go to donate?
