On Twitter/X, Antonio Brown made a controversial and false accusation against Buffalo Bills Safety Damar Hamlin. The troubled retired player and failed indoor football team owner was responding to a Tweet about fictional characters' deaths that people have not gotten over, and his response was Hamlin. Hamlin, of course, responded and even showed AB trying to DM him after his frightening on-field death, which he of course was revived from, last year.

Hamlin was nominated for NFL Comeback Player of the Year. He collapsed in a game against the Cincinnati Bengals on January 2, 2023, when his heart stopped after a routine collision. He was kept alive by paramedics with CPR. He remained in critical condition for several days and spent a lot of time in the hospital recovering.
