Bills Fans Get Ready For a Pre-Game Good Time at Block Party in Downtown
Bills fans are invited to a pre-game block party in downtown Buffalo on Sunday, October 10, 2021. The second “Buffalo Bills Block Party” will take place on Chippewa Street, between Delaware Avenue and Franklin Street prior to the Bills-Kansas City Chiefs away game. More than 700 Bills fans attended the first block party last month for the Bills-Miami away game.
In a press release I received, Mayor Byron W. Brown said,
“The first “Buffalo Bills Block Party,” held last month for the Bills-Miami road game was a great success, with over 700 Bills fans gathering with friends and family to cheer on the Bills and support our Chippewa Street businesses. I expect the Sunday Night AFC Championship rematch between the Bills and the Chiefs will be an even bigger draw.”
the City of Buffalo and the Chippewa Business Alliance are hosting the party. A total of four pre-game parties were scheduled for the season during Bills away games. The block party is for fans ages 21-years-old or older. Streets will be closed off in downtown at noon on Sunday. Gates for the block party open at 6 pm. Tickets are required - general admission, standing room tickets are $10. Tables that can seat up to 10 people are $250. There will be two LED video walls, a DJ, a halftime show and, food specials from Bocce Pizza, and beverage specials from Labatts. Attendees can also watch the games inside Soho, Rec Room, Local Kitchen & Bar, Buffalo Tap House, 67 West, and Bottoms Up. Tickets can be purchased at www.ticketweb.com or in-person at the gate.
