Challenges have been the most popular social media craze in 2016. The Mannequin Challenge turned Rae Sremmurd's "Black Beatles" into a huge hit. The U Name It Challenge made a sermon by Pastor Shirley Caesar the new anthem for Thanksgiving. The Running Man Challenge resurrected the Ghost Town DJs' 1996 hit "My Boo." Rappers and fans across the world put a new spin on Monica's 2003 single "So Gone" for the So Gone Challenge. Now, Chuck E. Cheese is at the center of attention for the latest challenge.

The new trend sweeping through social media is the Chuck E. Cheese Challenge, which is inspired by the animatronic band at Chuck E. Cheese’s. In the videos, participants mimic the movements of those robotic devices to the tune of songs like Childish Gambino's "Redbone," 21 Savage's "X" and Bootsy Collins' "I'd Rather Be With You." Chuck E. Cheese's even caught wind of the original challenge post and accepted the offer.

"Challenge accepted," the company tweeted. "You stole our moves...wait until you see our new ones!"

Not long after, the restaurant chain posted a video on Instagram of their mascots participating in their namesake challenge.

"When a challenge has our name on it, of course we have to jump in…with some new moves!" the post's caption reads. "We accept #DragonHouse’s #ChuckECheeseChallenge. Song credit: @djaychief"
