Former Buffalo Bills Player Helping Broncos In Playoff Game
As the Buffalo Bills get ready take on the Broncos on Saturday, January 17, 2026, in the AFC Divisional Round of the 2025/26 NFL Playoffs, both teams are seeking ways to make sure they have an advantage over the other team.
The Bills, who handily defeated the Broncos in the 2024/25 AFC Wild Card Game last year, have been doing a lot of studying of films and how Denver has played other teams this year. The Broncos were able to earn the number 1 seed for the AFC for a reason, and the Bills would be smart to make sure they prepare for them.
The Broncos are likely doing the same thing since the Bills have an uncanny ability to humiliate their opponents on the football field, but Denver also has another way to prepare in the team's toolbox.
Former Bill Elijah Moore is now a Denver Broncos Player
In 2025, the Buffalo Bills acquired talented Elijah Moore, a talented Wide Receiver who was drafted by the Jets and spent two years in New York and another two playing for the Browns before driving down I-90 to Buffalo.
After appearing in nine games for the Bills, Moore was released from Buffalo to make room for veteran receiver Brandin Cooks. Since that happened, Moore was picked up by Denver and has not appeared in a game since.
Now it appears that Moore is going to help Denver win the game by doing whatever he can to make sure they know the details about the Bills' playbook.
While speaking with the Denver Gazette, Moore noted that while the Bills have a lot of injuries, they don't really use their wide receivers as well as they could.
It seems that whatever contribution that Moore has made to the Broncos' game against the Bills has earned him a promotion. Moore has been elevated from the Practice Squad, but still won't play in the game.
