Saturday's Powerball drawing turned one lottery player in New York State into an instant millionaire on Sunday. The New York State Lottery announced that one 2nd-place winning Powerball ticket was sold in New York from last night's drawing.

There was one 2nd-place winning Powerball ticket sold in New York from last night's drawing. That ticket matched all five numbers but missed the Powerball number to claim the $1 million dollar prize.

That million-dollar winning ticket was sold at Two Way Supermarket located in Brooklyn, New York.

There were also three 3rd-place winning tickets sold in New York State from Saturday's Powerball drawing. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number to win big. Two of the tickets won $50,000, while the 3rd ticket had the PowerPlay and won $150,000.

Did Anyone Win Last Night's Powerball Drawing?

There was no grand prize winner from last night's Powerball drawing. There has not been a grand prize winner since May of this year. The current jackpot for the next drawing on Monday night is now up to $905 million dollars.

This would shatter the current record for the largest lottery win in New York State. The current record was set back in 2023 when Johnnie Taylor won $476 million dollars
