Shea's Buffalo Theatre has lined up another incredible set of shows for the 2025-2026 season. Tonight was "reveal night" for the new lineup, and once again, they've knocked it out of the park. This season will feature some classics and some brand-new shows that many may not have seen before in person.

As you would expect from Shea's, even the unveiling event was a production.  President and CEO Brian Higgins began the night by welcoming everyone and thanking them for their patronage of the theater.  Then, it was on to the musicals.

The lineup includes the premiere of 5 musicals and is highlighted by the return of one of the most popular musicals of the year.

Is "Wicked" Coming to Buffalo, New York?

Yes, Wicked is coming to Buffalo! It will be here for a roughly two-week run from November 12th to the 30th. Of course, that's not the only amazing show coming this way. Here's the full lineup.

Not surprisingly, the biggest reaction of the night easily came from the announcement of the return of "Wicked," which will be in Buffalo from November 12-30.

One of the other highlights was The Tony Award-winning Best Musicals from 2023, Kimberly Akimbo, and from 2024, The Outsiders.

Suffs, a musical about the passionate women who fought for a woman's right to vote is a Tony Winner also.  It was nominated for 6 Tony's in 2024 including Best Musical and brought home Best Book Of A Musical and Best Original Score.
