The Niagara region got its first early taste of winter on Sunday, with several inches accumulating around Western New York. Well, early is a relative term. People here are used to snow as early as October. After all, we all have memories of trick or treating in the snow. So while it technically may be early in the season, it's pretty normal for all of us.

That being said, it's snowed every day since Sunday. People are wondering when it will end, so they can stop worrying about brushing off their car. Snow is nice and all, but it's annoying when you open the door to go to work and realize you have work to do on your vehicle.

When Will Snow Stop Falling in Western New York?

Snow will end for Western New York in about May.

That's a joke. Though not untrue LOL.

According to the 4Warn Forecast from WIVB, the snow will finally end on Thursday when it switches to rain. We'll get some more lake effect today and tomorrow. Wednesday, the storm pushes North for a bit, then settles back south and turns to rain on Thursday. By Friday, the rain appears to end, and we're in for a cool but nice weekend with temps in the 40s.

This storm has been very manageable for us in WNY. Snow-vember, though, was not. Remember when we had that storm in 2014? Check out some of the pictures.
