WNY has found themselves on another promising list which features cities from all over the country. WalletHub released 2017's Best & Worst Small Cities to Start a Business and WNY came out on the winning side! The town of Tonawanda found themselves on the Top 20 list of "Small Cities to Start a Business".

In this study WalletHub compared the "business-friendliness" of 1,261 small-sized cities to decide which small cities would be ideal to start a small business this year. They used three key dimensions to analyze the "cities" and those included, 1) Business Environment, 2) Access to Resources and 3) Business Costs. WalletHub also decided to use cities with  populations between 25,000 and 100,000 residents. Keep that in mind when you look over the top cities, some smaller cities might be good but just don't have the population size to qualify for the study.

For Tonawanda to make the list is HUGE for the area.  Coming in at #14 out of hundreds of cities in this study is a pretty amazing accomplishment. Making a national list only makes the town that much more appealing when businesses are looking to start or even expand and add locations to their business.
