Areas South of Buffalo Have Snow In The Forecast This Week
Last week was pretty beautiful across Buffalo and Western New York. It's not exactly normal to have 80-degree temperatures in early April, but that's what happened. This week, however, is a much different story.
WKBW reports that you should probably enjoy Wednesday's sunshine because it changes on Thursday.
Rain will move into the region early Thursday and we'll likely have hit-or-miss rain showers all day on Thursday.
Thursday night into Friday, we will dip down into the 30's, which could produce snow showers south of the Buffalo metro and across the southern tier...so don't be surprised if you wake up Friday to some snow!
It shouldn't be too much, hopefully...but obviously, snow of any kind in mid-April is not the most ideal.
Saturday and Sunday will rebound into the 50's but with some chances for more rain showers, unfortunately.
I'm going to go ahead and say (knocks on wood) that any major snowstorm will not happen the rest of the spring and we will be gradually improving with our weather as we get further into April and May.
I can't wait for the summer weather to stick around and actually enjoy this summer, versus the not-so-good 2020 summer.
