The bandwagon for Sabrehood is going crazy with the amount of buzz surrounding the hometown team. As the Buffalo Sabres get ready to do something they haven't done in 14 seasons, go to the playoffs, Sabres merch is flying off the shelves, and the blue and gold (or black and red) are quickly some of the hottest items in the NHL.

As the Sabres organization gets ready for the last few games of the season, all of Buffalo is getting ready for the postseason. But, as one of the hottest teams in the league gets ready to wrap up the regular season, senior leaders with the Buffalo Sabres organization and the KeyBank Center are bringing back a fan favorite drinking receptacle.

The Beer Sabre Is Making A Return For One Game Only In Buffalo

Earlier this season, the Buffalo Sabres marketing team and the KeyBank Center concessions folks released a limited edition drinking 'glass' called a Beer Sabre. The Beer Sabre quickly became one of the most popular Sabres items you could find, with the 20 oz hockey stick-shaped drink container, which has fans going to get their hands on one.

With everyone getting so hyped for the team, the Sabres have decided to bring the Beer Sabre back.

In partnership with Labatt USA, the Beer Sabre is coming back for one night only.

On Monday, April 6, 2026, the Buffalo Sabres are home at the KeyBank Center, where they are hosting the Tampa Bay Lightning in a game that could put the Sabres back in first place in the Atlantic.

Now, fans have two big reasons to head to the KeyBank Center after all the Dyngus Day celebrations that are happening.

Let's Go, Sabres!
