Buffalo Bills Have Released Cole Beasley

The Buffalo Bills have made huge splashes in free agency so far, including signing edge rusher Von Miller to a massive 6-year, $120 million contract on Wednesday.

The team is expected to make more moves, especially addressing the wide receiver, running back and cornerback positions in free agency and the NFL Draft.

The Bills made another move on Thursday, but this time, it was to release a player.

The Bills have released wide receiver Cole Beasley.

Beasley was given permission to seek a trade nearly two weeks ago, but the Bills and Beasley clearly did not get the compensation they wished.

Beasley’s release is not a surprise given the development of the offense, his age, and the fact the Bills save $6 million against the 2022 salary cap.

Beasley made news last spring with his social media posts regarding his stance against the COVID-19 vaccine.

This move surely means that the Bills will sign another free agent wide receiver and likely draft one in April.
