Here’s How To Get Sabres Tickets, But Be Prepared To Pay For COVID-19 Test

The Buffalo Sabres haven't welcomed fans into KeyBank Center since before the pandemic started, which was roughly one year ago. That changes on March 20th, when the team will have some fans in attendance.

New York State is allowing arenas or stadiums that host 10,000 people or more to reopen at 10 percent capacity, which equates to roughly 1,900 fans per Sabres game.

According to WIVB, tickets for season ticket holders will go on sale on Thursday and the Sabres will contact them directly with instructions. They go on sale to the general public at 2 p.m. this Friday.

Fans who attend will have to provide a negative molecular PCR COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the game.

Here's how it will work:

Sabres will be working with Quest Diagnostics for COVID-19 testing. Once you purchase your ticket(s), you will be emailed a link to a registration site with a code that can be used to schedule a test at Quest Diagnostics. The test will cost $64.

You will also need to download the CLEAR app to verify your identity. You will link your test results and answer a questionnaire. After you successfully accomplish that, you will get a green notification on the CLEAR app, which will allow you to enter the arena.
