The Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame is adding 12 members with its 2022 class, including a Sabres all-time great.

The man with the most career minutes, most wins in a season, most career wins, and the most games played in a Sabres uniform is now a Hall of Famer.  A Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Famer.

Miller was drafted 138th overall by the Buffalo Sabres in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft, and went on to play 18 season in the NHL, eventually setting the record for the winningest American-born goaltender in NHL history, surpassing John Vanbiesbrouck, with 391 wins.

A Vezina Trophy winner as the league's best goaltender in 2010, Miller spent 13 seasons in net for the Sabres before being traded to St. Louis in 2014.  Miller went on to play for The Blues, Vancouver Canucks, and the Anaheim Ducks before retiring in 2021.

The rest of the Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame Class of 22' includes Bob Kauffman, Cora Livingston, Cott Family, Emily Regan, Gordy Bukaty, Jeff Anastasia, Jim Hanley, Jim Nowicki, Susan Schoellkopf, Tim Winn, and William “Doc” McMahon.

The 12 member Class of 22' will be inducted on Wednesday, June 8.

The Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame group began meeting regularly in 1991, with inductions starting that same year.  There are now 355 members who have been inducted into the hall. The  Hall of Fame is temporarily located inside Sahlen Field, home of the Buffalo Bisons in downtown Buffalo. The display is open during Bison Baseball games. They are currently seeking a permanent location to house all of their Buffalo sports memorabilia.
