Toddler’s Unusual Bruise Looks Like a Buffalo Bills Logo
We've all heard the stories. Whether it's the age-old tale of a potato chip that looks like Jesus, the bird droppings that look like Abraham Lincoln, seeing Elvis in the clouds, or a face in the everyday power outlet. We've all seen something different every now and again when looking at an ordinary object.
This phenomenon is known as Pareidolia. Basically us humans have a tendency to see or impose a meaningful interpretation on an object so that we observe an object, pattern, or meaning where there is none. I know, it's a lot of boring scientific mumbo jumbo, but there is a point to this.
I have a 20-month-old toddler at home. She is past the walking stage, and is now sprinting around the house at track star speed, and climbing on every object that she can get a good grip on. The other day, when taking the corner around the couch just a little too fast, she had her first major boo-boo, when she slipped out of control and whacked her face on the side of the coffee table. She paused for a second, trying to figure out what had happened, and let out a blood-curdling scream.
Within seconds she composed herself but started to rub her face where the ouchie had occurred. As soon as she moved her hand out of the way, so we could get a good look at it, the miraculous appeared.
Now, we're not talking about the official Buffalo Bills logo here, but rather the one infamously drawn by Josh Allen after he was drafted in 2018.
It was as if it was drawn by the magical right hand of QB1 himself. The Navy Blue, the red, and the white all began to come into focus.
Could it be divine intervention? Could it be a sign big things are in store for the Bills this year? Or, could it just be a Pareidolia? Whatever it is, or whatever you see, there is only one thing left to say...
