Remember "Hauschpups"? Kicker Stephen Hauschka and his wife Lindsey started 'Haushpups' during their time in Western New York. Their program covered the cost of adopting animals at local animal shelters.

The Hauschka's and the Beane's are actually good friends, so when Stephen was released by the Buffalo Bills, the GM and his wife took it into their own hands to make sure that their sprit continues. They are going to call it 'Bills Muttfia'. Here is how it is going to work: Every touchdown scored by the Buffalo Bills AT HOME, the Beane's will cover the adoption fees for an animal at the SPCA. The animals will range from all types each week. On the Buffalo Bills website they announced the program:

The first group of "draftees" are available for adoption now following the Bills' three-touchdown performance on Sunday: a bonded pair of chihuahua mixes named Bianca and Boo Boo, a one-year-old kitten named Kira, and a turtle named Blueberry. Visit YourSPCA.org/BillsMuttfia for more information.

This week one local attorney vowed to pay your adoption fee at the Niagara SPCA for Senior Kittens. You can see the story here.
