Buffalo Bills Players Chose Love at Site of Saturday’s Shooting
The City of Good Neighbors continues to show its support for the victims of last Saturday's shooting in Buffalo, including a surprise visit to the site's memorial by several members of Buffalo's professional sports community today.

Earlier today, the Buffalo Bills and NFL Foundations combined to donate $400,000 to aid in response efforts on Buffalo's east side. Then, later in the day several members of the Buffalo Bills, including Quarterback Josh Allen, visited the Buffalo neighborhood near the Tops Supermarket where ten people were killed on Saturday.
Members of the Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo Bandits also paid their respects on Jefferson Avenue earlier today. The teams arrived at the makeshift memorial unannounced. After placing flowers at the site, they made their way to nearby tents where they helped with distributing food to community members who have been left without a place to shop since the Jefferson Avenue Tops was forced to close as part of the ongoing investigation into Saturday's shooting.
The Bills players were wearing black sweatshirts with the phrases "Chose Love" just below the Bills logo. This goes hand in hand with the message that the team tweeted out on May 15th, the day after the attack: Stop Hate. End Racism. Choose Love.
The Bills have also created a community resource guide, showing you ways that you can support the victims, their families, and others in the Buffalo community that have been affected by the events of this past weekend. You can view their guide by CLICKING HERE.
