Buffalo’s Contribution To The Blue Jays Helped Fuel World Series Run
The sports world has been ablaze over the last few days as the Toronto Blue Jays have earned thier third trip to the World Series in franchise history.
That's a major accomplishment for the Jays as they had taken control of the AL and will represent the American League in the best-of-seven series against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Now, while we know that all of Canada is going to be rooting for the Jays, there is also a specific part of America (and New York State) that will be cheering for them as well, which can also claim part of the responsibility for the Blue Jays being where they are today.

The connection that Buffalo and Toronto have together goes back more than 200 years. From both cities being burned during the War of 1812, to the linkages both cities have with the people and culture, when good things happen in one place, people in the other cheer in celebration of the other.
That exact thing was happening as the Blue Jays' George Springer belted a ball into the stands to send Toronto to the World Series. Folks all over the 716 screamed in celebration, especially those over at One James D. Griffin Plaza.
The Buffalo Bisons, the AAA farm team for the Toronto Blue Jays, have made several contributions to the current American League Champions. But the contributions run deeper than you may realize. When you look at the current Blue Jays roster, several players have called Buffalo home as members of the Herd.
When you look over the Blue Jays roster this year, you're gonna see several famaliar names who also have Bisons jerseys hanging in a locker: Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Bo Bichette, Shane Bieber, Max Scherzer, Ernie Clement, Addison Barger, Nathan Lukes, Mason Fluharty, Braydon Fisher, Eric Lauer, Yariel Rodriguez, Brendan Little, Davis Schneider, Taylor Heineman, Alejandro Kirk, and Trey Yesavage.
Maybe we can convince the Jays to rock a Buffalo Wings jersey for one of the home games during the World Series.
Now, may not realize it, but this is not the only interesting connection between the Toronto Blue Jays and Buffalo.
