After the Rams knocked off the Bengals in Super Bowl LVI, we knew who all of the teams would be playing in the upcoming 2022 season.  We just didn't know the when and the where.  The NFL tonight released its schedule for the 2022 season.  Here is a look at the Bills' opponents each week.

Week 1 - @ Los Angeles Rams

RAMS: This might be the sexiest matchup on the Bills' entire schedule.  So many subplots.  The Defending Super Bowl Champs.  Von Miller takes on his former team.  This one will show if the Bills have what it takes to go toe to toe with the league's best.

Week 2 - vs. Tennessee Titans

TITANS: Ahhhh, these guys again.  If it feels like the Bills have played the Titans a lot lately, it's because they have.  This will be the 5th straight season these two clubs have squared off and the 6th time in the past 8 years.  This time, it's a prime-time Matchup that kicks off a Monday night doubleheader. Derek Henry looks to be back at full strength for Tennessee.  But good news, stud WR AJ Brown is no longer a threat as he was shipped off to Philly on draft night.

Week 3 @ Miami Dolphins

DOLPHINS: It's always nice to see Bills Mafia take over South Florida.  The Dolphins' offense has added a ton of weapons (Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Mike Gesicki) over the last couple of years.  But, Tua still needs to get the ball to them.

Week 4 - @ Baltimore Ravens

RAVENS: This one will be electric when two of the AFCs and NFL's best quarterbacks take the field.  The Bills' will have their hands full trying to contain Lamar Jackson, while they get a look at the first post Wink Martindale Ravens Defense.

Week 5 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

STEELERS: It's a new era in the Steel City, as the Steelers start a season without Big Ben under center for the first time since 2003.  Could we see old friend Mitch Trubisky?  Or maybe first-round pick and hometown hero Kenny Picket will be the QB.  Either way, the Bills will be out for revenge for last year's early-season loss.

Week 6 - @ Kansas City Chiefs

CHIEFS: Sexy matchup Alert!  The AFC Divisional Round game last year was one for the ages.  And now, we have a full-fledged rivalry on our hands.  Bills/Chiefs + Allen/Mahomes is going to make for must-see TV...or Streaming...or whatever way you watch your games these days.

Week 7 - Bye Week

Week 8 vs. Green Bay Packers

PACKERS: Oh the offseason drama in Green Bay.  First, it was the long contract squabble of Aaron Rodgers,  Once he was signed sealed, and delivered, his favorite target Davante Adams was shipped off to the Raiders.  Could this be the year the Packers tumble from the top of the NFC North?

Week 9 @ New York Jets

JETS: The annual pilgrimage to play the football team from New Jersey. The Jets beefed up their roster with seven picks, including three in the first round of this year's NFL draft.  "Sauce" Gardner and Florida State edge rusher Jermaine Johnson are two new editions to the Jets' Defense, looking to clamp down on the Bills' high powered offense

Week 10 vs. Minnesota Vikings

VIKINGS: Kirk Cousins under center never really has scared anyone.  But he does deliver solid numbers year after year, and he was the one that made Stefon Diggs a household name with the Minneapolis Miracle.  A beefed-up secondary includes draft picks Lewis Cine and Andrew Booth, Jr.

Week 11 vs. Cleveland Browns

BROWNS: What to make of the Browns this year?  Last year, they had playoff expectations and then crumbled when it came to crunch time.  This year, the newly acquired Deshaun Watson takes over at QB and still has the ground and pound back Nick Chubb, to hand off to.

Week 12 - @ Detroit Lions

LIONS: Detroit is building a team in tough man head coach Dan Campbell's image.  They added stud Michigan Edge Aidan Hutchinson, and Alabama speedster WR Jameson Williams to their young roster.  They won't be contenders just yet, but they should be fun to watch.

Week 13 @ New England Patriots

PATRIOTS: It does the heart good to go into Foxborough and get a win.  The Bills did just that in 2021, before putting the nail in the Patriots playoff coffin here in Orchard Park last January.  Could this be the start of a Foxborough win streak?

Week 14 vs. New York Jets

JETS: The Jets seem to be pointing in the right direction.  Which, after the last 5 years being tied with the NY Giants for the worst record in the NFL, shouldn't be too hard for them to do.  A trio of first-round picks in this year's draft should add an influx of young talent, to an already young roster.

Week 15 vs. Miami Dolphins

DOLPHINS: Tank for Tua.  It was a thing, and the Dolphins got their man.  Now it's time for Tua to put up, or shut up.  The Dolphins added all-world WR Tyreek Hill to their roster, and assuming Tua can get the ball downfield, will be tougher to defend against this year.

Week 16 - @ Chicago Bears

BEARS: Poor Chicago.  They mortgaged their draft future to land Ohio State QB Justin Fields last year, and the franchise doesn't appear to be any better as they limped their way to a 6-11 finish.  With no 1st round pick in 2022, the team may be in for another long year.

Week 17 - @ Cincinnati Bengals

BENGALS: It's not every season that you get to play both Super Bowl teams from the previous year, but that's the way the stars aligned in 2022.  Will the Bengals be a one-year wonder? Or do Joe Burrow and company have what it takes to hang with the AFC elite?

Week 18 vs. New England Patriots

PATRIOTS: The Balance of power has finally shifted in the AFC East.  Heck, even a Boston Sports reporter called the Bills "The Best AFC Team on Paper".  Even though TB12 is long gone, this one will be a good time in Orchard Park.

The Bills are in the middle of the pack, in terms of strength of schedule, as their opponents check in with a .512 winning percentage, which puts them at 12th in the league. The Los Angles Rams have the league's hardest schedule, while the Cowboys and Washington Commanders are tied with having the easiest slate of games in 2022.
